Important Information for Foreign Visitors 🌍

If you are a foreign visitor joining the Tyre trip, please make sure you have any necessary permits or authorizations required to access South Lebanon before the tour.

Entrance fees for foreign visitors are 400,000 LBP per archaeological site, or 800,000 LBP for both sites.

The tour already covers the equivalent Lebanese entrance fee of 200,000 LBP total, so foreign participants will only need to pay the difference:

600,000 LBP total — approximately USD 7

This amount is paid separately on the day of the tour.

For a comfortable full day in Tyre, we recommend bringing:

• Comfortable walking shoes

• A hat

• Comfortable clothing suitable for walking

• A light layer depending on the weather

• Cash in Lebanese pounds for personal purchases and additional entrance fees, where applicable

Know before you go

• This is a full-day experience with considerable walking

• Archaeological sites include uneven surfaces and limited shade

• Comfortable walking shoes are strongly recommended

• Please inform us in advance of any food allergies or dietary restrictions

• Foreign visitors are responsible for arranging any required South Lebanon permits before the trip

• The itinerary may change depending on site access, weather, traffic or local conditions

• Tour participants must be 18+

• Cancellation Policy

Payments are non-refundable. Cancellations made at least 72 hours before the tour may be transferred once to another available Layers of Lebanon tour.

If the tour is canceled by the organizers, participants will receive a full refund or may transfer their payment to another available tour.
